Almighty,
Wish
is a Silent Prayer
From the time a child is
born, desires starts enveloping his mind & heart. Sometimes he wishes to
have a toy car or sometimes it is a ride on his father’s shoulder. These small
wants are also wishes in the form of a demand or a request. When he grows up
the list of desire becomes long and complex with all efforts done to make all
of them a reality. He wishes for a car, a beautiful wife, an amazing job, great
health, a nice house, hefty bank balance and so on. These thoughts originate in
the heart and we then hope for them to become true, hoping for a virtual
thought to take a real form.
A wish is a strong
feeling or expression for something that could happen or probably will happen.
The moment we make a wish, we send our own vibration and energy in the universe
to resonate with the frequency of our wish in the cosmic world. The moment our
wish enters the Universe, the progression towards fulfillment of that desire
begins.
A prayer is an earnest
request for assistance or expression of thanks addressed to God, angels or
another deity. Through our prayers, we communicate to the Supreme
power about our joys, grief, desires, hurdles, problems, to seek guidance, to
surrender, ask forgiveness and to practice gratitude. We believe that all our
prayers are heard by the Almighty and he will act upon them in a way that will
give us the ultimate peace, liberation and true happiness.
When we talk about a
wish, which can be to help us in crossing an obstacle or asking for guidance
when standing on a crossroad. We desire or in other words, we wish for God’s
intervention and by doing it we communicate with the Supreme Power that in
itself is a prayer. A wish becomes a prayer when the intention is honest,
genuine and pious.
When we pray or make a
wish, it is not necessary to follow the ritual of physically folding our hands,
closing our eyes and speaking aloud. We can converse with Him anytime and
express our innermost desires. Moreover, knowing what is best for us, He
blesses us beyond our imagination when we merely choose to have the
conversation with Him in the first place.
Therefore when we
initiate a conversation with Him, we pray and those prayers can include
anything from a wish that he accepts our gratitude or we wish for his guidance
or we wish for forgiveness.
